On Wednesday 11 December 2019 the official handover of the key took place at the new location of Rutges Cargo Europe (RCE) and its sister company J. Middelkoop Logistics (JML) at the Changiweg 2 at Schiphol Logistics park. RCE and JML jointly lease 6,000 sqm in AMS Cargo Center II. The key handover was celebrated in the presence of shareholder and CEO Vincent van ‘t Schip.
In 2018 Proptimize and Built to Build realized – through a JV – AMS Cargo Center I (34.000 sqm). Due to the successful development, the JV decided in 2019 to realize AMS Cargo Center II across the road, consisting of a distribution center of seven sections, altogether 32,000 sqm. AMS Cargo Center II offers space for rental, starting from 3,000 sqm.
