GLP, one of the largest investors in Europe in the field of logistics real estate, recently purchased the new distribution centre – A16 Cargo Center in Dordrecht – from Proptimize and Built to Build.
The new building development, which is already under construction, is located on the new Dordtse Kil IV business park in Dordrecht and will be completed in April.
The modern distribution centre A16 Cargo Center has a BREEAM Excellent certification and consists in total of approximately 32,000 m² divided into approximately 27,523 m² GFA warehouse, approximately 2,118 m² GFA mezzanine and approximately 1,543 m² GFA office space in combination with 187 on-site parking spaces.
The new distribution centre has been leased for a long term to online supermarket Picnic and is located at the new business park DistriPark Dordrecht, directly at the A16 motorway. With a floor area of over 30,000 square metres, it is one of Picnic’s largest distribution centres in the Netherlands.
