AMS CityDocks, the state-of-the-art last-mile distribution centre in the Lutkemeerpolder in Amsterdam, has officially been awarded the BREEAM-NL Excellent new-construction completion certificate — the second-highest rating within the internationally recognised BREEAM sustainability framework.
The certification, awarded for the building shell and central installations, confirms that sustainability was embedded in every layer of the development, with particularly strong results in the Management, Energy and Waste categories.
AMS CityDocks is a fully electric, gas-free complex of approximately 38,000 sq m, featuring an exceptional energy capacity of 9 MW, rooftop solar panels and extensive EV charging infrastructure. Last year, the complex was sold to CBRE Investment Management on behalf of one of its sponsored funds.
With this certification, AMS CityDocks sets the standard for sustainable, future-ready last-mile logistics in the Amsterdam region.
AMS CityDocks is a development of Proptimize and Built to Build Real Estate. For more information, please visit www.citydocks.com.
