Proptimize and Built to Build Real Estate are proud to announce the completion and sale of AMS CityDocks, a state-of-the-art last-mile distribution centre on the western edge of Amsterdam. The project has been acquired by CBRE Investment Management on behalf of one of its sponsored funds.
The modern multi-tenant complex comprises two buildings totalling approximately 38,000 sq m. One of the buildings (13,280 sq m) has already been pre-leased to Medux, a leading player in the Dutch healthcare sector.
Strategically located between Amsterdam, the Port of Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport, and with direct access to the A5 and A9 motorways, AMS CityDocks serves a substantial catchment area of around 2.3 million residents within a 30-minute drive.
Sustainability and future readiness were central to the development. The all-electric facility offers an exceptional energy capacity of 9 MW, is equipped with EV charging points and rooftop solar panels, and is targeting a BREEAM ‘Excellent’certification. In addition, a new publicly accessible park will be delivered adjacent to the site.
