HighBrook and Proptimize grow Dutch urban logistics platform to nearly €500M with two latest acquisitions

HighBrook Investors and Proptimize have just closed on two additional logistics properties in Ridderkerk and Lisse totaling approximately €45M for the CityLink portfolio.

Since launching the platform just 10 months ago, CityLink has expanded its portfolio to over 50 assets with a total area of over 425,000 sqm. The portfolio has been assembled through as many as 36 separate transactions and is now valued at nearly a half billion euros.

CityLink aims to at least double its portfolio next year. It is looking for Light Industrial, Last Mile and Distribution Centre properties from 3,000 sqm lettable area. It is important for CityLink that these properties are located within a radius of ±20 km around the major cities in the following provinces: North Holland, Flevoland, South Holland, Utrecht, Brabant and Gelderland.

CityLink is also keen on working on forward funding developments with local developers.

CityLink: investing in last mile real estate

For real estate to function as a last mile hub, it needs one essential feature: a location close to the customer base. The focus of CityLink is on acquiring logistics real estate in and around the most densely populated areas in the Netherlands. CityLink invests in existing logistics properties (stabilized and transitional) as well as redevelopment projects and developable land.
